FIKILE SOKHULU

Fikile Sokhulu studied at the Durban University of Technology, receiving a National Diploma in Fashion Design. She participated in the Durban University of Technology’s Rise of OXX show, at the South African Fashion Week, in 2018 and was a New Talent Search finalist that same year.

The Fikile Zamagcino Sokhulu brand started in April 2018. Fikile’s design style is influenced by feminine fashion details which is reflected in the silhouettes within the designs created.

The collection concept and inspiration this season is “Willow” – the tree’s adaptability to change to survive – and how Planet Earth strives for an ecological balance within the forces of nature.
