Cape Town-based fashion designer Artho Eksteen loves the bizarre and the beautiful. He finds inspiration in nature and the arts to create fashion pieces that transport the wearer to his fantasy world. This world is filled with exotic textures, flora, and eclectic energy, expressed through Artho’s love for designing prints and patterns.

Artho launched his eponymous label with his signature surrealist style in 2021. This garnered him the prestigious award as the winner of The New Talent Search Competition at SA Fashion Week that same year.

Artho Eksteen’s upcoming collection takes inspiration from the tranquil yet chaotic allure of rivers, ponds, and streams. This collection explores freshwater landscapes, capturing the peaceful and refreshing essence and the delicately balanced natural world.
