Rubicon is a multi award-winning fashion brand established in 2002 by Hangwani Nengovhela. The brand is known for creating iconic collections with impeccable designs.

Rubicon celebrates 22 years of effortless style, form-flattering-sophistication, tailored-craftsmanship and timeless-designs. The brand draws inspiration from the rich heritage of the mythological origin of the Mapungubwe’s historical landscape.

Hangwani personifies the brand by bringing subtle African-opulence to each collection. For over two-decades she has contributed her knowledge and skills at some of South Africa’s Fashion and Textile industry Giants. Hangwani is deeply committed to nurturing and supporting the next generation of the clothing and textile industry.

As a celebrated award-winning designer, Hangwani has qualifications in Textile and Clothing Techniques from the Minijiang University in China. She has acquired competence in business skills through her family business background and working in the advertising industry. Hangwani is currently completing her B Com in marketing.
