The SA Fashion Week Designer Pop-Ups have introduced thousands of affluent shoppers in Gauteng’s premier shopping meccas, Sandton City and Mall of Africa, to South African design. These pop ups allow designers to test new markets and gain insight into a much wider range of potential consumers that are both willing, and financially able, to experiment with interesting alternatives to commercial fashion. Most importantly, designers can generate immediate revenue from their newly launched collections.
