Director of South African Fashion Week, Lucilla Booyzen, has been elected to the influential fashion industry communications and analysis hub, The Business of Fashion’s (BoF)’s annual BoF 500 Global Fashion Leader Index for 2022.

SA Fashion Week (SAFW) will stage the Autumn/Winter 23 Collections at Mall of Africa, its home of the past three years, in October. Twenty-seven designers will launch their new collections on the runway from Thursday 20th October to Saturday 22nd October and forty will exhibit at the Trade Show on the 23rd and 24th October in the Crystal Court.

SA Fashion Week as announced that the preview of the Spring/Summer 2021 and trans-seasonal designer collections, which have been shot at the Mall of Africa will be broadcast digitally between 29 April – 01 May 2021. Cape Wools and Mohair SA announced today that they will form a collaboration on the next edition of the SA Fashion Week and Cape Wools Designer Challenge to become the Cape Wools and Mohair SA Designer Challenge. We are thrilled to announce that “De Mil” has been selected by an international panel of judges as the menswear designer, and “LUNAR” as the ladieswear designer.
